The escalating and visible surge of antisemitism in Australia is horrifying. It is not abstract. It is not distant. It is real, it is active, and it is dangerous. What makes it even more disturbing is that these acts are carried out with cowardice, targeting innocent people who are simply coming together to celebrate the beautiful and sacred holiday of Hanukkah. When families and communities gather in light, joy, and faith, cowards choose hate and violence.
